Our Founding Story

Apostle Rawle P Mitchell and Lady Dorothy J Mitchell are the visionary leaders and founders of New Beginning Ministries International, headquartered in Dothan, Alabama. With hearts on fire for God and a global mandate to restore, rebuild, and revive, this dynamic duo has committed their lives to Kingdom work both locally and abroad.

 

From the streets of Dothan to the nations of Kenya, Trinidad, Dubai, Nigeria, and many more places, they have been instrumental in founding churches, building homes, establishing communities, and bringing clean water and tangible hope to underserved areas. Their mission is rooted in revival—revival of the spirit, of families, and of nations.

Lady Dorothy J. Mitchell, a powerhouse in her own right, has ministered around the world through song with the world-famous Harlem Gospel Choir, carrying the message of God’s love to audiences near and far.

Together, they also founded Ivy League Academy, a child care and educational center dedicated to serving families with excellence, integrity, and a Christ-centered foundation.

 

Though their impact has already been profound, the call on their lives is far from complete. With unwavering faith and divine purpose, Apostle and Lady Mitchell continue to labor in love, proclaiming: the work is great, and the harvest is still plentiful.
